Rex Gorell Skoda Pro-Am

Last month we hosted our inaugural Rex Gorell ŠKODA Pro-Am. Our Members, sponsors and visitors were able to team up with PGA of Australia professionals along with up-and-coming Pros as part of the competition.
We were blessed with picture-perfect golf conditions including just a light breeze (not something you often see at a links course) for our morning and afternoon shotgun starts.
We didn’t make it easy for the visiting Pros and would-be Pros with a difficult set-up, conspired by our Course Superintendent. Irrespective of this, feedback on the day from our visitors was that they loved the course and the challenge experienced.

AM Amateur: Ned Rogerson 39pts
PM Amateur: Ryan Donnar
AM Best Team: David O’Connor, Majella O’Conner, Chris O’Connor & Mark Sheppard (Pro)
PM Best Team: Gavin James, Mick Rainey, Greg Muller & Ben Roberts (Pro)
All in all it was a great day and we can’t wait to do it all again next year.
