Our second annual John Christophersen Golf Day, in support of the Lonsdale Links Foundation was held on Friday 19th of May. A heartfelt thank you to everyone that participated in and supported the day. We had 88 players tee it up for the event and managed to raise $22,763.50 for the Lonsdale Links Foundation.

The day began with a quick coffee and breakfast sandwich before players made their way out on course, welcomed by a beautiful, sunny Autumn day with less than a breath of wind.

There were several activities scattered across the course in addition to the Gentsomes format competition.

• At 5-ways we were lucky enough to have Teddy & The Fox offering gin tastings
• A mulligan hole out on the 16^th hole for those that didn’t make it over the marsh
• A chipping competition on the 1^st hole practice green
• A Pro Hole with Director of Golf, Matt Rogers, on the 12th
• In addition to all this, the Christophersen family offered $2000 for any team registering an eagle on the 15^th hole (a hole that John famously eagled).

A wonderful lunch was served at the conclusion of play, where players heard from General Manager, Josh Hall, about future plans for our Club and golf course.

There were some impressive team scores, but the win was taken out by Richard Leckey, John Sestan, Richard Meyrick and Vin O’Halloran with a team score of 111 points. (Please see all scores via the link at the bottom of this page).
