Event Wrap-Up: 2023 Lonsdale Classic

Posted on: 17 January

Last week, our infamous Lonsdale Classic took place with over 230 competitors playing over two days.

A highlight of the Lonsdale Links golfing calendar, the Classic is a sell-out golfing competition with Members and Guests alike itching to get on the booking sheet each year.

Lonsdale Classic Golf Competition

We were lucky enough to be blessed by great weather and playing conditions both days and hosted Members and Guests from over 30 Clubs across the state. There was even a player that came all the way from Toowoomba.

Both our AM and PM fields played some fantastic golf with great scores all round. You can see all the results highlighted below. Aside from the competition aspect however, most players join to spend a fun two days playing golf in a friendly and supportive environment. Essentially what golf is all about, don’t you think?

Here’s what one of our players had to say about the day: “A quick note to say thanks for an amazing two days. It’s the first time we’ve ever participated in the Lonsdale Classic and hopefully it’ll be the start of a new tradition in our family. The opportunity to play two consecutive days of golf in such a friendly environment was superb and afforded me the chance to spend some quality time with one of my boys.”

Our sincerest thanks goes to all our sponsors for the event including: Surface Squared, Zoe Kennedy Foundation, LBW Business and Wealth Advisors, Oakdene Wines, Prestige Inhome Care, Coastal Elements Landscaping, Statewide Property Advocacy, Suma Park, the Macafee Family and the Chisholm Family.
